Women Who Whisky; A Poem

You should look out for women who whisky.

They’re confident, eloquent and know what they want.

Women who order Macallan neat are a force to be reckoned with.

You see, they’re somewhere between keggers and kids

but have long left the world of Radlers and Ciders and Bacardi Breezers

(or perhaps never even went there).

They’re not particularly fans of rose and while they don’t mind a sangria on the patio,

Jack and Coke is the way to their heart.

Women who whisky are complex and exciting.

There’s something about them you can’t quite put your finger on.

They’re emotional but you’d never know it

because women who whisky are stoic and rather hard headed.

If you need a planner, an achiever, a dreamer, you’ll find her where they sell Ballantine’s

and Jameson.

Women who whisky are one of a kind.

Chances are if they drink Forty Creek, they’re humble and balanced

but driven and passionate.

And if she loves you, a women who whiskys will follow you to the ends of the earth.

Or maybe women who whisky are nothing like this,

maybe this is just me.

Happy World Whisky Day!
