When was the last time you had a cup of coffee just to enjoy a cup of coffee? These days, my coffee intake might as well be administered via IV because I’m running on all cylinders, managing loads of projects for the blog, the house or the day job. I decided that the installment of Tunesdays this week would be five songs to help you unwind and recharge while enjoying a really good cup of coffee.

Put Your Records On by John Novello

This piano version of the song made popular by Corinne Bailey Rae is upbeat and whimsical and is perfect to pair with a good cup of Joe.

An Italian in America by Coffee Shop Jazz

This tune has the ability to transport you to Italy from your kitchen table or patio. It will get you grooving and overall, it’s just pleasant to listen to.

Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson

Perfect for rainy mornings, this song by Jack Johnson is super sweet. You are sure to get it stuck in your head!

Simple as This by Jake Bugg

When you first hear this song, you probably think of Don McLean and Neil Young, and then you find out that Jake Bugg was born in 1994. He’s 23 and sounds like he’s been doing this for years. Enjoy it with a simple cup of coffee and let your troubles take a vacation for a while.

I Followed Fires by Matthew and the Atlas

I recently stumbled across this song and loved it instantly. It’s full of energy and any song with a fiddle deserves a gold star in my book.

Do you have a lazy Sunday playlist that you enjoy with your morning cup of coffee? I'd love to hear all about it.
