Friday Introductions: 10 Things About Me
Well hey! We’ve made it to the end of the week, how ‘bout that! With the snowy, windy weather we’ve been having lately, I’ve been really leaning into all the cozy winter cliches - chunky sweaters, coffee in my fave mug, cozying up with a good book and watching the snow fall gently on the evergreens. It’s a scene straight out of a Hallmark movie to be honest.
I figured it was time for an introduction to the gal behind the blog for those that may not know me! I’ve been seeing more readers lately than ever before and from all over the world, which is AMAZING! Who knew this blog could reach people in the United Kingdom, South Africa and even Australia - HELLO FRIENDS.
So I thought we could do this like a Cosmo quiz, remember those??
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza, definitely pizza. Maybe even with pineapple, that’s a new revelation but I’m about it. Oh, and Kraft Dinner with extra cheddar, natch.
What show are you most likely to binge watch?
Gilmore Girls, obviously. Who doesn’t love Stars Hollow and all of the eclectic characters that come with it?
If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Probably Cheryl Strayed, she’s one of my favourite authors and I loved the Dear Sugars podcast (check it out if you haven’t already)
What’s your drink of choice?
I’d love to say something really classy like a smooth glass of cab sauv but honestly it’s just whiskey, in a coffee mug LOL
On your days off, what’s the first thing you do?
We typically start our Saturdays off by going grocery shopping and running some errands. When we’re not getting together with friends or family, we’ll spend our weekends trying some new recipes, hitting the gym, and have a leisurely afternoon drinking coffee and listening to music.
What’s your go-to outfit?
A t-shirt, jeggings and combat boots. Simple, comfortable and low maintenance!
Someday I want to:
The big dream would be to be able to write for a living.
What was your favourite girl/boy band growing up?
A little less traditional but I’d have to say The Cranberries and Ace of Base.
What was the last book you read?
I just finished Homebody by Joanna Gaines and The Next Person You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. Both were great reads! I’ll be starting Becoming by Michelle Obama next!
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
The top place on my bucket list is the UK, and as luck would have it, we’re heading to England and Scotland on our honeymoon in the Fall!!!
Do we have anything in common?? Leave me a comment below!
