Kitchen Design Inspiration
About a year and a half ago, we sat down for our design centre appointment for our new construction home. It was truly one of the most sweaty-palmed moments I’ve ever had. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but with countless styles and colour options and different models to work from, the possibilities were infinite, as was the risk of completely hating whatever we chose when we finally moved in.
I spent a vast amount of time on Pinterest and Houzz, scouring the internet for guidance and to obtain some sort of semblance that I could have confidence in our design decisions.
I decided to focus most of my efforts on our Kitchen. As a self-proclaimed hostess-extraordinaire, the kitchen would act as a hub for our friends and family in our very first home; it was THE MOST IMPORTANT room!
I knew that I liked the idea of a clean, fresh look so I leaned towards whites and greys. From there, I gravitated towards beachy, airy photos with hints of rustic farmhouse décor and some pops of colour.
The big unveil is less than a month away (when we FINALLY get our keys), but until then, take a look below to see some of the inspiration I used to create our space.
